Roger har vært politisk rådgiver i tre norske regjeringer og var fungerende statssekretær i Kulturdepartmentet i to perioder i 2010 og 2011. Han har også lang erfaring fra kommunikasjonsarbeid som informasjonssjef i Norges Fotballforbund og Vinmonopolet. Han driver i dag et eget konsulentselskap, SOLKOM, som rådgir virksomheter i spørsmål om medie- og myndighetskontakt.

Roger has been Political Adviser in three different Norwegian governments and was acting Deputy Minister in the Ministry of Culture for two periods in 2010 and 2011. Solheim has extensive experience within the field of communications as Director of Communications at The Football Association of Norway and Vinmonopolet. He is now running his own consultancy SOLKOM that advice organizations within the fields of Public Relations and Public Affairs.
